Individual Therapy

In the modern age, we are rarely urged to slow down and attune to our inner experience or the world around us. Instead, we are encouraged to go on autopilot and embrace the “grind,” or mindless scrolling. So often, or society weaponizes our focus and emotions against us.

Individual therapy offers a much needed reprieve from that disconnection. In our sessions together, you get to show up exactly as you are. Healing happens when we allow all the parts of ourselves to be witnessed and accepted.

In our work together, I will support you in releasing burdens from the past, living out your values in the present, and cultivating acceptance around the uncertainties of the future.

Relational Therapy

Your relationships can be a source of deep fulfillment and purpose. However, when those relationships become strained, it can feel like an insurmountable weight. Relational therapy offers you and your loved one/s the chance to connect more deeply and intentionally. It opens the door to a level of understanding in your relationship that you may not have believed was possible. Whether you’re addressing patterns of conflict with your partner, exploring ethical non-monogamy, helping your family through a challenging transition, or dealing with anything else that is uniquely impacting your relationships, you don’t have to face it alone. Therapy Intensives

Therapy intensives are extended sessions designed to create focused, intentional space for deeper work. Intensives can benefit both individuals and couples in their therapeutic work.

Rather than meeting for the standard 55 minutes, intensives range from 90 minutes to 3 hours and are tailored to what would be most supportive for your goals. Intensives can be a one-time experience or scheduled over multiple days to build momentum—similar to a personalized retreat.

Sessions may be structured (with guided exercises or IFS-informed practices) or more open and process-based, depending on what your targeted focus is. Many clients find intensives especially helpful when a standard session feels too short to fully engage what’s coming up.

Nature-Based Therapy

You might find that the traditional approach of talk therapy doesn’t resonate with you in the way you need for healing. Sitting face-to-face can sometimes feel too exposing, and the structured nature of sessions might leave you feeling restless or uncomfortable. Nature-based therapy offers a refreshing alternative. In these sessions, we’ll meet outdoors at a local park. As we sit or walk together in this natural setting, the therapeutic conversation unfolds more organically. Many clients discover that this informal environment encourages openness and ease, allowing for deeper exploration and connection with their therapist.

Geek Therapy

One of the many benefits of establishing care at Evoke is the flexibility to determine the way services are provided to best meets your individual needs. As a self-proclaimed “geek,” I understand how impactful things like video games, board games, tabletop role playing games, and fandoms can be to a person’s mental health. These can be the venues that we create community, engage in self-exploration, and cope with life’s most difficult challenges. I’m passionate about weaving these elements into the therapeutic process, particularly as a way to reduce barriers to traditional talk therapy.
